How I Wanted it to be

07 August 2014
No, this is not another drama post about love, school problems, and complaints about life. This is just a post about how I want my day to be. Last Tuesday, nothing really happened and everything was absolutely average (plus it's raining)- wake up, go to school, study, get dizzy with class, then go home. Each day that passes by, I always wonder what if I could control just one day and make everything that I want happen. Very selfish, I know, and at the same time, very impossible.

So this is how I wanted my Tuesday to be..

I want to wake up, with no worries about how many papers I'm going to print out before going to school. I want to have a big bowl of Cookie Crisp (my favorite cereal). I want to have a car waiting outside with a driver so I don't have to commute anymore. I want the weather to be half-sunny, half-windy. I want to go home by 12pm. I want to be at my house by 1pm and hug my pillows and sleep the whole afternoon. I want the same thing to happen again the next day and the next day and the next day..

But still, the opposite of what I wanted is what happened last Tuesday. That day was not even a bad day, nor a day full of excitement. It was definitely plain. I know I'm not the only one who thinks this way. Just like any other student, you will have that certain feeling of wanting some convenience of going to school without having your hair messed up, and you want to be productive but you don't know where to start. That day I realized that it wasn't the day that made me feel gloomy, but it was me who never looked for something good to do for that day.

So let's make our days productive like a 24/7 convenience store. Let's remember that we are the ones who weave the pattern of our days. :)

  1. I can relate to this. Though might I suggest planning something different for the next days? Maybe you can get together with friends on a break and do something new :) It gets really plain just following a routine, so even doing something different could sort of brighten up your day :)

Like you said, Think good thoughts :D
