In the Japanese Pop Culture, the term Kawaii is the most highlighted word because Japanese peeps value cuteness in everything they have and will have. Who doesn't love cute stuffs anyway? Cute stuffs give life to many things, and cute stuffs never go out of style. There are some kawaii stuffs that are already making its break into the world of arts and crafts, and one of them is the Washi Tape.
You can use Washi Tapes for designing your stuffs like phones, keyboards, and even your utensils so you can make it look very artsy.
And here are some Kawaii stuffs you might wanna check out (and buy too!) :
So why am I blogging about Kawaii stuffs? It's because the Kawaii Fever is coming to Manila for the second time! No need to go to Japan to experience the Kawaii-ness because it's coming your way this September!
My friend introduced me this convention for the first time just last week and I became excited because the colors and the cute stuffs of their poster (see it below!) gives me that I-really-wanna-go feeling.
The ultimate Kawaii experience in the Philippines is now bigger and better! (^_^)
Ready your colorful, fully decorated kawaii outfit and your cute sparkling personality as Kawaii in Manila 2, the first kawaii convention in the Philippines, is coming this September 2014!
Kawaii in Manila is a day-long affair dedicated to promoting the interest and appreciation for the kawaii culture through various kawaii-related programs and activities. It’s an event that aims to unite people who share a common interest in Japanese culture, animation, fashion, and everything in between!
This time, on its 2nd run, Kawaii in Manila 2 will take you to a magical portal where you can experience cuteness through Philippine fair x Japanese matsuri themed shows, contests, workshops and activities. Come join us in munching on sweet Pocky treats, playing dress up, and kawaii-fying the normal. Let’s all show how wonderful a kawaii world can be! ~(˘▾˘~)
Of course, I would like to show my three of my cutest stuffs I just had (and did!) recently:
So these are my colorful, smiling clip binders. They are just so perfect to use especially when I have to rush papers at school and you will never frown because the binders are even smiling at you! :)
Oh, and aren't these Lego Mini Figs very cute and adorable? Who knew superheroes can be so cute even at its tiniest size? :"> You can even make scenarios with these tiny buddies! In the two pictures, the heroes are chasing Hulk because he's throwing tantrums again :))
And this TFIOS drawing I just did recently in honor of the hit novel and movie, The Fault in our Stars. I did it the other way around- no cancer, no tears, everything happy and very kawaii.
